In the fantasy era what would be some insulting phrases or words?
I don't really know of any but I dont want to use any modern words in it.

Thanks, there are some pretty good ones in there and I am sure I can find one I need.

Thou mangled sheep-biting pumpion!

I wonder how many times I have to click the button before his much admired "I farteth at thee" comes up?

LOL

I wonder, also.

There aren't just verbal insults, what about the inverbal ones?

Giving someone the finger started with English longbowmen who, if they were caught by the French during the hundred years war would have the fingers used to draw their bows, would display their middle and pointer fingers as a "Come get me" type of deal.
Eventually this turned into the middle finger we know today...

So, giving a reason for an insult (such as, we will cutting off your drawing fingers) gives you the insult... Hope that helps.

Do you mean mediaeval? There is no "Fantasy Era."

Lurking-me not wanting to spoil anything, but . . . I think that is not correct. As far as I know the story about how the insulting V-sign came about is already a myth and not proven to be true (but a totally cool myth! :) ) and the Finger isn't connected to it at all. The middle finger gesture can for example be traced back to Ancient Rome . . .

:o

Insults, like everything else fantastical, depends on your setting and your world in general. If the people are an honorable bunch, implying that they're not would be insulting. If they're a chaotic bunch who generally act superior, then implying that they are worse than <insert some insignificant item here>. If they're warriors, imply cowardice. If they're wizards, imply incompetence. If they're thieves, imply boorishness or lack of finesse.
