Flintstones Season 2"Flintstones - The Complete Second Season" has just been released on DVD. 32 Episodes with Fred and Wilma and the rest of the familiar Bedrock characters that I and probably many others remember watching as a kid. While some cartoon series don't look quite as good today as they did when I first saw them I think the Flintstones are just as funny today as they were then.
Fred keeps goofing up in his own special ways. From forgetting his and Wilmas anniversary, then trying to smooth things over with a romantic date while of course also trying to bowl in a tournament at the same time, to messing things up with his friend Barney. Well, pretty much anything he does.
People more familiar with the later episodes might also miss the opening theme with the "Meet the Flintstones" song. The first two seasons had a different theme tune.
Some of the extra features worth mentioning includes a collection of songs from the original cast members, learning how to draw Fred, commentaries to several of the episodes and maybe the best of them all, Carved in Stone, a documentary with quite a lot of background information for the avid Flintstones fan.
All in all collection well worth buying if you are a Flintstones fan.
