ExperimentA sci-fi thriller of sorts. A man and woman trapped in a foreign city, victims of an experiment they are left with no recollection of who they are or what they are doing there. It soon becomes obvious that the experiment isn't over... Their every action is being guided by unseen forces...
Sitting down to watch a totally unknown movie which I haven't heard anything about is always somewhat of a risk. You somehow fear the worst and in most cases you are proven right. Experiment however turned out to be a pleasant exception.
What I like most about this movie is the originality and that I can believe in the characters. A British sci-fi that keeps it simple, focuses on the story and the characters rather than the big bangs and visual effects and what can I say, it works. It works extremely good to be honest.
Another thing worth mentioning is the soundtrack, it rarely strikes me like it did in this movie, but the music was extremely well used as an effect in supporting the mood and feel of the movie.
To conclude, it's disturbing, surprising and completely different to anything I've seen before. Simply great.
