Not to sound ungreatful, but I was horribly disappointed with this film. I've seen previous films by Spinks, and enjoyed them for what they are, low budget fun. But this film had a very non-effort feel to it. I think the cast, crew and writers were just going through the motions on this stinker.

The plot is this; a rabid Wombat has taken a craving for human flesh. The Wombat has his way with a small town until one lone animal control officer takes matters into his own hands to deal with the demonic creature.

What? Did they find this at the bottom of Roger Corman "Bad Ideas" list? It's really bad.

I can agree with Dale K. in the fact that the sequel appears to be much more creative and spirited. The problem there is release of the sequel seems to be a very limited quantity. I'm been looking for a few years with no result so far. I anyone reading knows where I can find a copy, please let me know.

I hope and pray that Spinks will become a far better filmmaker through failures such as this film. It's truly a starting point for someone who wants to learn.

I LOVE the first Spinks DVD release, "Halfmast Productions Presents: Volume I" It was a work of brilliance for the low/no budget filmmaker. A real inspiration to filmmakers such as myself.

'Shame on you' for the Wombat, but 'Thank you' for everything else, Mr. Spinks.
