Snow White And The Three Stooges is one of the loveliest fantasy films ever made. It has always been the subject of much debate, because fans of the stooges expected them to play a more active role in the movie. However, their parts were, like those of the original seven dwarfs, little more than support for Snow White. The part of the heroine is played by lovely Olympic skating champion Carol Heiss. She does well in her only film appearance. Veteran leading lady Patricia Medina makes a wonderfully evil (and beautiful)queen, and Edson Stroll is a convincing prince charming. the cinemascope deluxe color production is available for the first time in a beautiful widescreen version, which displays the sets and costumes to great advantage. With a tuneful score and fine background music, ''snow white'' has everything a lover of fairy tales could ask for, and this new dvd will hopefully give it another chance to be appreciated for the fine film it is. The extra features include a stereo track, spanish language track, and the original theatrical trailer(like the film, letterboxed and enhanced for widescreen tvs) phil lindholm.
