A young man finds himself in a dream state that he cannot get out of. While in this dream state, he flies around a city, encountering a variety of people talking about life, philosophy, politics and religion. The dream state is depicted in an unforgetable way where real people and scenery is transformed into vibrant and energetic imagery.
This is both a visual pleasure and an intellectual film. Anyone interested in the nature of reality, mind, and our fate - would probably view this film several times over while taking notes. The action is mostly in the form of the young man listening to others speak. At the same time that it is intellectually stimulating... it's funny.
A quote from the film:
"The worst mistake that you can make - is to think that you are alive, when really you're asleep in life's waiting room."
