With You by Tiffany LittleWith you came sorrow, pain.
With you came tear stained pillows.
With you came grief and sleepless nights.
With you came sickness, fright.
With you came fear and nightmares.
With you came a sadness unquenchable.
With you came regret bitter and terrible.
With you came thoughts of death.
With you came truth, harsh and cruel.
With you came never-ending torment.
With you came loneliness unbearable.
But as time drew on, a shadow lifted,
I was blessed, my perspective shifted.
With you came laughter, joy.
With you came tears of triumph.
With you came a happiness with no match.
With you came dreams that I could catch.
With you came stability.
With you came companionship and loyalty.
With you came a light to bring the day.
With you came a map to find the way.
With you came guidance, a role model.
With you came ideas, bright and resourceful.
With you came love.
