My Castle by Leah GoodeA tree that overlooks a mighty lake
A luscious stream
And tall grasslands
I could just sit upon the tree from dawn till sunset
I climb up the labyrinth in the late afternoon
Then wait
I watch the clouds roll by
The sunset form
And night take fall
Then I think back upon the sunset
So unique
So magnificent
So unable to describe
Then I stare at the moon in awe
I hear the howls of animals and the hoot of owls
Up in the tree I am flying
Soaring
Gliding over the earth
As I smell the golden wheat and lime leaves
The sun rises
As I sit there I think how amazing
How wonderful
And our God created it all
I see the cool crystal lake as it glitters and as it sparkles
I hear the wind whistle and nature call
In the winter when the snow falls on the golden leaves of the tree
There is no words to describe
This is my castle
