I think this series is the best! I love the way Alanna
had to sneek her way into the palace at corus as "Alan". In my opinion she is one of the bravest girls in any of the books I've read. When I first started reading it I thought Jonathan had a suspicion the " Alan " had a strange air to " him " but then I figured out that Jonathan was clueless. I would have really liked to have know what happend after Alanna and George of pirate's swoop got bethrothed . but I havent read the Imortal Series so........................ who knows! When Alana meets shadow things start to get REALLY interesting. If Alanna married Jonathan then there would have been more excitment in the children of the them.

READ THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used to think that nobody could write better than Joanne (J) Kathleen (K) Rowling. But up to a few months ago, it happened. I was looking through the library looking for a few books to take on vacation. Now, I have read millions of books and I'm only 9, and I am exteremly advanced, like, I can read and write better than an exceptional adult. I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE Tamora Pierce!

I personally think that this series describes most girls perfectly! Each female in the world wants to become someone or something she is either restricted to become, or can't become at all. There are plenty of examples: Joan of Arc, Sandra Day O'Connor, and a few others come to mind. Any girl who loves Tamora Pierce's work, or just wants to know that she is not the only one with dreams should read this book. I highly recommend it!!

Tamora Pierce's Song of the Lioness Quartet is one of the best series ever. I would certainly recommend it to anybody, especially if you love a great combination of fantasy, adventure and slight romance. I think it's worth five stars and I would hope that Tamora Pierce will continue writing more of her fabulous books.

This serise is about a young girl who wishes to become a Knight. After switching places with her twin brother Alanna begins her training as a Knight. Alanna hides her sex from all her freinds except the Prince. Prince Jonathon discovers the truth after Alanna saves his life. Alanna passes the page part of her training and becomes the squire of the now Knight Jonathon. Uneased by Jon's cousin Alanna begins to suspect that Roger is up to no good. After becoming a knight Alanna goes on many more adventures and is forced to confront her ultimite foe. This a fantastic serise and is my favorite series. Tamora writes a fantastic book that draws you and and makes you believe it really exsist.
