What do you get when you mix Ian Fleming, Lord of the Rings and Blade Runner? You get this gripping science fiction/fantasy thriller. Heroes Die is about one man with two personalities: On the fantasy world of Ankhana, he is Caine a deadly assasin. On Earth he is Hari Michaelson, a actor who potrayals Caine in a rigidly-casted future Earth where he actually kills people on Ankhana for the entertainment of the people. When his wife doesn't return from one her acting gigs on Ankhana Hari/Caine defies the powerful studio head to go there a rescue her. This novel has scenes of eleemental magic, techological advances, brutal scenes of hand to hand combat, narrow escapes and deadly deception where our hero must battle the ruthless ruler, Ma'elKoth and Caine's archnemesis the evil Baron Berne and outwit the Studio heads who wants his wife to die for higher ratings! This novel is hard to categorizes and impossible to forget.
